Once again BGM is excited to announce another machine purchase, a 50 Horse Power lathe with 21" diameter cutting capability. This addition will complement BGM's already substantial heavy cut capacity. Posted 8-29-17

New Machine Purchase

BGM's Employees are excited by the latest machine purchase, a Hass DM-2 Mill. The new Mill will significant enhance BGM's capabilities with smaller parts. It's been chosen to meet specific existing demand freeing up other heavier machines for anticipated business currently being developed. A timely purchase, the team had been researching the possibilities for some months but finally pulled the trigger in response to developments with new work. Posted 6-30-17

Fun Time Had By All

With a ratio of 1 prize per employee there was plenty of opportunity to win at Monday’s prize draw and Thanksgiving meal. Workers enjoyed a tasty Thanksgiving dinner of turkey or ham with all the trimmings before sitting down to see who would win in the annual prize draw. Workers with Productivity, Attendance, Safety, and Quality tickets were in with plenty of chances to win big as Plant Manager Rick Clark randomly pulled tickets out. Winners could choose from amongst such prizes as TV’s, Kitchen appliances, Tools, and Computers if their ticket was drawn. There were plenty of smiling faces as BGM gave a big Thankyou to the people that add the value.

Excitement Builds as Thanksgiving Approaches.

Workers at BGM are excited about the Annual Thanksgiving Prize Give Away. Each year BGM has a large prize give away for all hourly employees where up to $5,000 worth of gifts can be won. Prizes include large screen TV's, Computers, Cameras, Kitchen equipment and many other exciting items.

Blue Grass Manufacturing Co. Purchases Screw Machine.

BGM has made a move to further extend its machining capabilities with the purchase of two Nomura 6 axis screw machines. These two new machines will take some existing work of BGM’s larger lathes freeing up space and producing a quality part faster and cheaper. The new machines will allow BGM to offer a much more competitive small part prices. Posted 11/4/16.
